From May 7th to 11th, 2025, we are honored to host a distinguished delegation from our partner city Moshi, Tanzania, here in Marburg. The Mayor of Moshi, the Chairwoman of the City Council, and the new District Medical Officer are visiting to deepen our long-standing partnership and explore future opportunities for collaboration.
A special highlight of the visit took place this morning with a visit to TTM e.V. (Tansania-Team Marburg), where the delegation engaged in inspiring conversations about ongoing and future healthcare projects. The exchange underscored the strong commitment on both sides to improving medical care and fostering mutual learning.

A joint visit to the Botanical Garden, featuring a tour of the rammed-earth house built in cooperation with the Friends of Moshi association.
The Mayor’s ceremonial entry into Marburg’s Golden Book on the same day—a powerful symbol of friendship and respect.
